Official Gamma Chapter Philanthropy: Awareness Against Drinking & Driving
We support not one but two important, unique philanthrophies. Awareness Against Drinking & Driving is Gamma Chapter's individual philanthrophy which we support by volunteering with an community safe ride program and bringing a wrecked vehicle on-campus to demonstrate to students the importance of safe, sober driving in our community.
Official National Philanthropy:
Violence Against Women
Delta Xi Nu's national philanthrophy is that of awareness of violence against women. We honor this philanthrophy in many ways including related philanthrophy events during the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month of October and fundraising efforts for a local Fort Collins safehouse.
Service and philanthrophy are an integral & important part of being a sister of Delta Xi Nu. Each sister is required to complete at least 15 hours of service per semester, which can be through chapter opportunities or individually. We participate in service both related to our philanthrophies and other valuable projects within the CSU and Fort Collins communities.
Service
Delta Xi Nu is also committed to performing different service activities around the community, including work with Habitat for Humanity, University Village, and various Colorado State University projects.
